Known as ‘The White Lady of the Forest’, and thus connected highly to the Norse goddess Freya.
Birch is commonly associated with birth, regeneration, and new beginnings, in part due to the tenacity of the tree. This symbolism has come to mean  birch being seen in modern world as a symbol of good luck and fortune. Wipe clean with a damp cloth only.
