With working with a pole lathe, we know how much work goes into producing the items on it, and we've reasoned for a long time that for the effort put in, the maker likely would have left identifying marks- some of the finds from the Viking era for example contain lines or marks that may well have been to identify it.

Made from mahogany, sourced close to Cranfield Church on the shores of Lough Neagh, a small 13th century building that now lies in ruins. Close by is St Olcan's Well, where the amber pebbles that lie within are rumoured to contain healing powers.

Measures 11 inches diameter, by 2 deep.
