Made using spalted beech, that fell in the Castleward area during Storm Ophelia in 2017.

Between the 9th and 11th centuries, Vikings were regular visitors to the area Castleward is situated in, giving it the Norse name 'Strangftorthe', which means 'the place of strong currents' or 'strong fjord'. Today, the area is known as Strangford.

Designed to look like barrels in celebration of our rich history.
