Based off a design commonly described as a chariot horn cap from the Iron Age (100BC-AD50). The design was rumoured to have traces of red enamel inlay when first found, but they have long gone. The design is known as ‘British Celtic art style II’, derived from the Continental Waldalgesheim style. Thought to have been found in the Thames at Brentford.

The wood is mahogany, from Drumderg, north of Lough Neagh.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth only.
