Made using birch that stood at a family doorstep in Belfast. Measures 8.5 inches by just under 2 inches deep.

Known as 'the white lady of the forest', and thus highly connected to the Norse goddess Freya.

Birch is commonly associated with birth and new beginnings, due to the fast tenacity of the tree. In the modern world, it is quite often viewed as a symbol of good luck and fortune.
