Made using Sapele wood from Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Hand burned with a detail from the Cammin Casket, made in Scandinavia around c950, The original casket, holding the relics of Saint Cordula, is sadly thought lost in a fire in WWII. It had been on display in what is now an area of Poland. Made from ivory and gold, it had decortative panels in Mammen style of beasts and serpents.
Naturally stained to show the burn, approx 8 inches diameter. Wipe clean with a damp cloth only.
